Finding Home at Pleasant Hill Softball (PHBA)

One of the things I love most about what I do as a realtor is being deeply connected to the community I serve. But beyond real estate, there are the everyday moments that truly make a place feel like home—and for our family, Pleasant Hill Baseball Association (PHBA) softball has become one of those special places.

This is my daughters’ second year playing softball with PHBA, and being part of the Braves has been such a joy. What started as trying something new has quickly turned into something we genuinely look forward to every week.

There’s just something special about this community.

From the energy on the field, to the friendships forming in the dugout, to the supportive parents cheering from the sidelines—it’s the kind of environment you hope your kids get to grow up in. The coaches, the families, and the players all bring such a positive, team-first spirit that makes every game and practice feel meaningful.

As a mom, I love watching my girls build confidence, learn teamwork, and have fun doing it. As someone who works locally, it’s even more meaningful to experience firsthand the strength of the Pleasant Hill community—not just as a professional, but as a parent.

It’s easy to say you’re “part of the community,” but being out there on the field, connecting with other families, and sharing these experiences together—that’s what really matters.

We’re so grateful to be part of PHBA, and especially proud to cheer on the Braves this season. 💙

If you’re looking for a place where community truly shows up—on and off the field—Pleasant Hill is something special.
